Good for you, Shock! Ali and and I have always been a one-car family, over ten years, even now as we navigate suburban KC. I think it'll get harder for both our families as our kids grow up. I really miss the DC Metro!

Noise is always something to look out for in HTPCs.

You could also try to get a graphics card that does not use a fan.

OR

A Mother board that has a graphics card built in.

Check out the MSI motherboards, many now have the graphics built in and HDMI outputs for under $100.

Also ZALMAN is king of the fans. I have tried all sorts and always come back to Zalman. Pay the extra 20$ and live in peace and quiet.

Don't lose hope. After entering 3 years in a row I finally got picked last year. I remember opening my mail box and seeing a plain envelope with the NFL logo as the return address. I immediately knew what this was. It was November 2nd and they sent me an invoice to purchase 2 tickets at $700 each. My heart sank to my stomach. I couldn't believe it. In January I threw them on ebay, had the auction end 1 day after we found out who would be in SB XLII. They sold for $6,700. God Bless America.

We took a day trip up to NYC for the Letterman show. It was a fun, surreal experience to be in the audience of the show during the taping. Billy Crystal & NY Yankees baseball player Johnny Damon were the guests.
